This was a Christmas gift last year, so provenance is unknown. Any thoughts on decanting?
Thanks

I´d do it as usual:
open 5 hours in advance, take a small sip for tasting (and put the rest back into the bottle), then leave it …
Decant a good 20-30 min. before serving … gently and carefully …
I’ve not had the big boy but recently had the 96 Roc de Cambes ( yes I know it’s Cotes du Bourg and not St Emilion) and it was terrific off a wine list for under $100.
Enjoy the Château Le Tertre Rôteboeuf, wish I could help you in that regard!
Thanks Gerhard, I’ll give that a try.
Wow Glenn! Great price, for a restaurant. Glad you enjoyed it.
