NOSE: powdered sugar currants; hint of leather; baked cherry note on Day 3, too.
BODY: hazy ruby-violet color of medium-light to medium depth; medium-light bodied.
TASTE: very fine tannins present — very little grip, however; red fruited; chalk; high acidity; hint of savory mineral; 12.8% alc. not noticeable; very nice, and possibly my favorite D&R Mourvedre to date.
BODY: medium-light body. Garnet color of shallow depth with slight bricking throughout.
TASTE: clear; carbonic; medium+ to high acidity; red-fruited; deeply-embedded garrigue note; pine and light cinnamon; quite pleasant; atypically light for Mourvedre, and therefore typical of Dirty and Rowdy. Drink or Hold. Gut impression score: low 90s.
