[cheers.gif] Tillykke !
Thanks for great notes.
Some nice surprises from the difficult birthday vintage. Good to see.
Looking forward to read more notes. (Especially the old French stuff.)

Congratulatory regards,
Søren.

Happy birthday from a fellow '67er!

A very Happy birthday Steen. It looks as though you got terrific performances out of some wines that would not ordinarily be acclaimed; it must have been a birthday miracle! That 2007 Branaire Ducru is tempting!

Happy Birthday … and good to hear that some 1967s are still worth drinking (I´ve got some friends of this age …)

Happy Birthday, Steen. Stay healthy.

Jürgen

BTW: If you ever see a 1970 La Lagune – grab it. It´s amongst the very best Bordeaux of that vintage. La Lagune did very well in that era.

I can add a 1967 Trotanoy which was absolutely superb and worth trying to find. Tasted as part of a Trotanoy vertical, it didn’t suffer when tasted next to the 1964 and 1966. 94 points.

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday Steen. Thanks for the notes. I have one or two bottles from 1967 as it is a decent vintage in some parts.

Good luck with your remaining bottles.

I have a 1967 Chambertin left. The previous bottle was quite good.

Was there a 67 d’Yquem in the mix?
