Has anyone ever tried this!?

2009 Domaine du Mas Becha Côtes du Roussillon Les Aspres La Bergerie du Camp de Nyils

Has Anyone ever had one of these (or other vintages)?

If so I would love to hear impressions. I’ve recently picked up a few and can’t find too much info on them. Jeb has given recent vintages (including 09) 95+ with some equally impressive reviews.

Curious to hear if anyone here can shed any more light/ personal experience.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Lucas

A few hours posted and no responses? Heres the label…

Did you check CT?

Hmm, nothing there on this particular bottling, but there is this:

Thanks! I didn’t see those…

I just opened a bottle and it was undrinkable. Total prune/raisin flavour. I’m gonna try one more bottle as I suspect this one was off…

I know it. It’s a neighbouring vineyard to mine. The wines IMO are very much in the style Jeb likes. Big, powerful wines made from very ripe fruit and considerable use of new oak. Impressive for fans of that style.

Those notes are bizarre. The same taster lists different grape compositions and alcohol levels for the same wine – on the same day. Some say it’s oaky and some say there’s no new oak.

Lucas, you might want to add the wine in the title.

Yes Chris, I came here thinking I would see an amusing video of some act of great stupidity.
