Andy Perdue

Northwest US wine guru Andy Perdue suffered a stroke over the weekend. His wife sent out this note on Facebook:

There’s no easy way to say this. Andy Perdue had a stroke Saturday morning at home. He is out of danger and is surrounded by a top-notch medical team, loving family, and supportive friends. We still are gathering information to determine the road to recovery - his initial prognosis is good. No visitors, please, as all his energy needs to go toward healing. If you aren’t sure what to say, post an emoji that might make him smile.

Wow - that’s sad news. I’ve enjoyed his writing in Wine Press Northwest. Thanks for posting.

thanks for posting, I check out NW wine press on a regular basis. praying for his recovery

Thank you for all you positive thoughts.

Wishing you well, Andy.

Get better fast, do the rehab.

Likewise Andy. Take care and speedy recovery. I met you years ago at a winery in Walla Walla (Dunham Cellars I think). Enjoyed talking Northwest wines with you!!!
