TNR: Pierre Peters Reserve Oubilee Brut NV

I received an offer for this. Any info appreciated.

This is the info I got when I asked Theise:

“It is a year older than the regular NV, ferments and is aged in “egg” and with more lees contact than the NV. Rodolphe makes his own dosage liqueur for this cuvée, and it is aged in a tiny barrique that’s the size of a dachshund puppy, and almost as cute.” - Terry T.

Delicious wine. It’s a step up from the regular Cuvee de Reserve, with more weight and depth, and a really great savory element to it. I’m a big fan.

thanks everyone, I was wondering about this too.

I really like it. I do not think it is a step up from the Cuvée de Reserve. It it a very different wine of equivalent quality.

Thanks to all for the feedback.

Had seen this in one of my accounts today, if I remember correctly this was north of $100, is it worth it for that coin?

It was $80 when I bought mine. I would opt for paying for the Chetillons if the Oubliee was over $100.
