Found 3 btls of 08 Dom at the Fairfield Costco over the weekend, $149.99/ea. Bought them.
Got one at the SoDo location in Seattle this week as well. $135, is not too shabby.

Visiting family in Delaware, went to the Christiana Costco thinking it would be a good trip, but I was wrong. This Costco was pretty bad.

Lacey, WA has 2015 Domaine Drouhin Pinot Noir Dundee Hills for $33.99. This location has a very small wine selection compared to others.

When I've visited my daughter in WA their Costos always seem to have much more Oregon pinot noirs than we find in the CA stores.

And we have more CA choices. Go figure.

Does Costco ever get chateau margaux or petrus? Want to get a bottle as a gift (not in a big rush) and figure Costco would have a fair price.

I have recently seen Margaux in the DFW market. Cannot remember which vintage or location, though.

The Costco in Westlake Village CA has had both at times. But then it is only about a mile from the Rolls Royce dealer!

They get first growths but really depends on the Costco. They aren't always the cheapest. Mountain View has a box set of Cheval Blanc and Pavie but they're priced far above what you can get from wine-searcher.

Mountain View had a bottle of 82 Pétrus for a while that was intially priced at $5K and was pushed down to $4K when it sold. Around the holidays, I have seen Margaux, Lafite, Haut Brion, Pavie, Mouton, and DRC over the past few years. Kind of hit and miss on vintages, pricing usually gravitates to the lower end of W-S.

I went to Westlake Village today and asked the guy stocking the wine bins about 2008 Dom and Cristal. He was unaware they were released out of order (2008 after 2009), but said that they had close to a pallet of Dom and said at 7-8 bottles a week they sell this time of the year, it will be the holidays before they get more into their store. He was not sure about Cristal's inventory. Interesting...
