For me its JBV, but to be honest ive only drank about 10 Saxums so my sample is very limited.

Definitely Bone Rock, especially after drinking the '07 the other night. 2nd favorite is Broken Stones. Just a solid fastball right down the middle ever time!

I love the Saxum whites…that minerality intermixed with the rhone flavors and waxiness weight…oh…wait… [oops.gif]

bone rock is more elegant for sure.

2003 Rocket Block…the best amongst many great wines

Really 03? I go for 05 rocket block as the best of the RBs…looking forward to its return. Overall though I’d say Bone rock is tops for consistency.

Agree on everything Daniel said! 2005 Rocket Block was the best! And year in, year out, Bone Rock always delivers that “classic Saxum” experience.

I have to go with either the 05 Rocket Block or the
44. With the vintages from 06-12 I’ve tasted over the last 2 years, I’m a big fan of the wines from the 09,10 vintage more so than the acclaimed 07. vintage.

Broken Stones for me- because I have the most experience with it- and I enjoy it every time!

that 44 was a special wine for sure.

The 2003 Rocket Block was different from the later versions, I think it was 40% Mourvdre.
