2015 Dirty and Rowdy Mourvedre FAMILIAR - USA, California (5/27/2016)
Nice way to start a long weekend. Cool red fruit, a bit of chalky tannin, and a fresh, spicy finish. This is just plain fun.

I’ve got one open right now and I concur: liquid joy. Fresh and spicy, the acidic cut paired with fatty appetizers perfectly.
Thank you, gentlemen, for the notes.
Any contrast to last year’s model?
I think this one is brighter, less fruit forward.
Thanks David! We love the '15.
There is more Antle Vineyard (Limestone / Granite)in the '15 vs the '14. It gives it a more savory / earthy tones vs the high beams of the '14. Also, there is about 4%ish Petite Sirah in the '15 (like the '13). There was none in the '14.
I never buy enough of these.
I I just bought a bottle of the Dirty & Rowdy 2013 “Familiar” Mourvedre from Sunfish Cellars’ online shop for $25.99.
Is it going to be good to drink (IIRC, it also includes a bit of Petite Sirah)?
My '13’s disappeared a year ago, but I’m sure it will be great. Nary a bad TN on CT.
Enjoy,
Warren
Thank you, Warren!
My mistake - I purchased a 2014 Dirty and Rowdy “Familiar”
