Arrow & Branch Dr. Crane , Bernard Magrez Cabernet Dr. Crane

Barely any mention of this wine.
Was just curious on other people’s thoughts on their Cabernet.

I just had a bottle of the 2012 Arrow & Branch Cabernet Sauvignon Dr. Crane Vineyard this past weekend.
I found it shocking this wine was rated only 90+ by WA.
Thought it was one of the best Cabernet’s I have experienced for the 2012 vintage. Nice and long finish and a great mouth feel.
I haven’t tried their Black Label, but after this experience I feel like it’s a must try for me.

Also had the Bernard Magrez 2012 Cabernet (also from Dr. Crane) which was probably the 2nd favorite (others thought this wine was their favorite).

Below are the wines we drank over the weekend. Arrow & Branch / Bernard Magrez truly stood out.

2012 Arrow & Branch Dr. Crane (My favorite of the trip)
2012 Bernard Magrez Cabernet (Many of others thought this one was their favorite)
2012 Dunn Howell Mountain
2009 O’Shaughnessy Howell Mountain
2007 O’Shaughnessy Howell Mounta
2013 Outpost Cabernet
2012 Mending Wall Cabernet
2013 Mending Wall Cabernet
2013 Hayfork Cabernet
2013 Teeter Totter (impressed compared to their 2012 vintage)
2000 Pavie

We just tried the 2013 Bernard Magrez Dr. Crane and absolutely loved it. Same vineyard (Dr. Crane), vintage and winemaker (Benoit Touquette) as the 2013 Realm Dr. Crane which scored 100pts, and you can get it for about a quarter of the price. Really well done.

Just ordered a bottle each of 2012 / 2013 Bernard Magrez Cabernet @ $125 each.
Has to be lowest cost Dr. Crane during 2012 & 2013 vintages.

Have you ordered from that retailer before? Thinking of ordering a bottle of each as well.

I haven’t first time.

Wine Country Connection you’re speaking of correct?
This is where I ordered from today.
