I’d get on it ASAP ... One of the 16’s just got 100 from Galloni (along with being a top 10 or 20 or something wine of the year for 2020), and that list isn’t going to get any shorter. I got on the list shortly after tasting a Sleeping Lady ‘16 I got in a club shipment from ACME in St Helena (so ... right after the first vintage came out), and by then it was already on a waiting list.
Already on the waitlist, happily well before these reviews..

Finally made the Next of Kyn list. Not sure exactly when I signed up. Funny story, I replied back to Stacey (customer service for NOK, SQN, TTT) and asked "Btw, been on the wait list for SQN for probably close to 10 years, where am I at on the wait?" She replies back, "We sent you your first offer back in Jan 2020 and didn't hear back". LOL, WTF? Did not see that email come across. Nicely, she has set me up for an Aug allocation. Always check your spam folders folks. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Secondary market pricing is only going to extend that waitlist. I was offered $500 a bottle for each of the 2016s (I declined).

Cayuse 8 years
Used to have a connection in Minneapolis that would get me many of their wines for cost or a bit below. Some of the retail pricing on their wines is silly. Not paying $140 for most of their wines.

Wait list times are dropping like lead balloons (with very few exceptions) OR limits are being controlled on releases. The only thing that can change that is the current "fire" vintage! My view!

You serious, Clark? I probably would decline as well since production/allocation is so small, but $500 is nearly Macdonald level secondary market multiplier...

I will say I'm ridiculously excited to see what he does with the "ex-Eisele" fruit as his Eisele cabs are one of the wines I hoard.

Anjea is $700 on WS now. Granted that is an asking price, but it is a reference point.

I'm guessing if you made the cut for the La Voleuse du Chagrin then you'll be on the release list for the other two. But I imagine it'll probably sell out fast again.

That asking price is mind-blowing. I cracked one open with pizza the other night...it is some delicious stuff. Finding it hard to keep the rest cellared.

Wow, that $700 asking price is more than the 3 pack with tax and shipping. I've killed some youngins recently but haven't opened one of those yet.

I can only find articles on Kinsman Eades, a boutique winery that crushed their first fruit in 2016. How does someone get $700 a bottle for wine when they don't even have 5-year track record?

I have been waiting on Screaming Eagle since 2011 and SQN since 2013.

I am only really hoping for SQN in the future. I have no real belief that I can get on Screaming Eagles list.

I signed up for the Saxum list in 19' and the wait said 7 years. Their email last summer in 20' said the wait was down to 5 years. There must have been quite a bit of turnover last year which is quite understandable given what Covid did to the job market. Will be interested to see if the wait list dropped even more or if it increased later this year.

I got my first offer for the QC Cab this year, after about an 18 month wait. Got access to the small mop up offer at Aubert after just a few months.
