Best tasting rooms in Washington?

I’m thinking of visiting Washington for a wine tour, any suggestions?

Woodinville or Walla Walla?

It would help to know if you have other plans for your visit that don’t include wine. There is not a whole lot to do in Walla Walla otherwise, maybe bicycling. The Columbia Gorge has fewer wineries, but far more in other attractions. The Red Mountain/Horse Heaven Hills has some good wines and tasting rooms, but even less going on than Walla Walla.
If you are just interested in tasting wines, the greatest concentration of tasting experiences is in the Seattle Area. You can also visit wineries and tasting rooms on Vashon, Whidbey, and San Juan Islands, and even the Olympic Peninsula.
