Saw this bottle at a store in Carmel Ca. Most bottles were destroyed when DRC slapped a lawsuit on these guys…so the mgr at the store said. Bottle not for sale.

I remember the wine well. Don’t recall the folks behind the label. Most wern’t destroyed, but simply
called back & relabeled. The wine was actually pretty decent for the price.

I remember Ken Volk owned ‘Santa Lucia’ as a brand name but I think it was Santa Lucia Winery. He would never have put ‘Burgundy’ on a bottle and he had to drop the Santa Lucia name, which was his first choice, when these guys sued him. That’s how ‘Wild Horse’ was born.
