Medium ruby with a more opaque character than I expected. Nose of baking spice, red fruits, hint of menthol. Palate of blackberry jam, light tar, mocha. Finish is medium + in length and intensity. Well balanced without overt tannin or acid. Drinking very well now, especially on second night (no decant). Likely to improve/evolve for at least 5 to 7 years.
