I just want to give a shout out for Tim Telli and his new endevour. Coming from a self professed Burgophile, my wife and I very much enjoyed this bottle. While you’re not going to mistake it for a Burg in a blind tasting, this wine comes as a very well balanced, elegant, and feminine expression of Pinot Noir. I would encourage any other burg folks to try a bottle. Full disclosure: Tim helped me choose bottles over the years while I cut my teeth in the world of fine wine.
Thanks for the note, Rick. I have a couple of bottles (I helped out with bottling the wine this past summer) and wondered whether I should give one a try yet. I saw Tim a couple of days ago and he said he’s happy with the way this wine is showing right now.
Ken, I would not hesitate to open one now. It’s drinking beautifully now. Tim suggested to give it some air. We popped and poured a couple of glasses, let bottle and glasses sit about an hour. It was hitting full stride at that point.
