We did this once before and it was fun. What are the last 10 wines you've drank? I bounce around in grapes, regions and price points. Some of these occurred on the same night.

1. 2010 Mount Eden Vineyards Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
2. 2012 Anthill Farms PN Peters Vineyard
3. 2013 Mc Manis Family Petite Syrah
4. 2001 Jaboulet Hermitage La Chapelle
5. 2001 Rostaing La Ladonne Cote Rotie
6. 1996 Trapet (Jean & Jean Louis) Gevery Chambertin - Chapelle
7. 2013 Famiglia Meschini Unoaked Chardonnay Argentina
8. 2011 Ravoire Bandol Le Port
9. 2010 Dubreuil Fontaine Pernand Vergelessese Il Des Vergeslesses 1er Cru
10. 2012 JP Droin Chablis Vallions ler Cru

11. 2008 Yves Ruffin Champagne Cuvee Precieuse (Marne) ( drank on same night as a few of the others)

This will be a bit rough:

2006 Ch. des Tours Vacqueyras
2010 Ch. des Tours CdR Rouge
2010 Domaine des Tours VdP Rouge
2013 Sigalas Santorini Assurtiko
Skouras ??? white
Skouras St. George red
2002 Baumard Savennières
2011 Navarro Pinot Noir L'Ancienne
2012 Guillemot Savigny Serpentieres
2013 Navarro Pinot Grigio

The Greek wines are an aberration as we cooked a Greek dinner with two other couples last night. Tours is my top Rhone producer by bottles and Guillemot my top Burgundy. We've had a lot of Navarro since visiting this summer.

According to CellarTracker, here are the last 10 I pulled from my cellar. In addition to these, though, I've had other wines at tastings, etc.

1999 Louis Jadot Charmes-Chambertin
2002 Maison Patrice Rion Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Suchots
1991 R. López de Heredia Rioja Gran Reserva Viña Bosconia
2002 Domaine / Maison Vincent Girardin Pommard 1er Cru Les Épenots
2004 Domaine William Fèvre Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses
1982 Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste

1991 Simi Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve Alexander Valley

1999 Bruno Giacosa Barolo Le Rocche del Falletto di Serralunga d'Alba

I've also had a couple of bottles of NV Billecart-Salmon rosé Champagne, which weren't entered into CellarTracker.

2011 Hofgut Falkenstein Riesling Sekt Brut Mosel Saar Ruwer
2009 Anthill Farms Pinot Noir Campbell Ranch Vineyard
2008 Anthill Farms Pinot Noir Peters Vineyard
2008 Domaine Marquis d'Angerville Volnay 1er Cru Caillerets
NV Roses de Jeanne / Cédric Bouchard Champagne Inflorescence Blanc de Noirs
2008 Bouchard Père et Fils Beaune 1er Cru Grèves Vigne de L'Enfant Jesus
2008 Soos Creek Champoux Vineyard Horse Heaven Hills
2013 Matthiasson Tendu California Red Blend
2008 Pyramid Valley Pinot Noir Growers Collection Riverbrook Vineyard
2008 Stefania Cabernet Sauvignon Santa Cruz Mountains

What I liked...

The Matthiasson for it being a delicious qpr that I can open with a bottle cap opener.
The Pyramid for reminding me that excellent Pinot can be made anywhere
The d'Angerville for re affirming for me a producer I like and will likely buy more
and.. the Hofgut Sekt - because it went so well with chips and salsa while watching the Jets be embarrassed yet again.

I think you're right, at least about the Chapelle. It was open for business and fun to drink but I could see the tannins being in a better place in 3-5yrs. Most at the table did really enjoy the Chapelle though right now. The 01 Rostaing La Landonne, conversely is nearing it peak and I will drink my last one or 2 within a couple years. TNs on CT at my handle chablis28.

2010 Faiveley Mercurey 1er Cru Clos des Myglands
2009 Behrens Family Winery Cabernet Sauvignon Crowley Vineyard
2009 Maison Nicolas Perrin St. Joseph
2010 Red Car Chardonnay Trolley Car
2010 Clos Marsalette
2010 Greywacke Pinot Noir
2013 Copain Pinot Noir Tous Ensemble Rosé
NV Charles de Cazanove Champagne Brut
2010 Domaine Vacheron Sancerre Les Romains
2010 Domaine Saint-Damien Gigondas Les Souteyrades

Far more Euro-centric than is typical for me, but does show my typical price point and varietal hopping; as well as the relative youth of my cellar. The Behrens was the only wine of the lot I scored above 90, so I'm due for some great wine!

NV Ramos-Pinto 20 Year Tawny Quinta do Bom Retiro - This was bottled in 1999. Very nice, no heat on the finish. Would buy again.
2012 Domaine Drouhin Arthur Chardonnay - Very happy another case is to arrive tomorrow
2010 Brickhouse Chardonnay - Yum
1992 Beaux Freres Estate Pinot - Best one of these to date, almost in the outstanding category
2006 Le Cadeau Cote Est Pinot Mag - Better than expected
2007 Le Cadeau Cote Est Pinot Mag - Better than expected and fun to try next to the 2006
2007 Rochioli Estate Pinot - Matched well with some grilled Ahi.
1969 Jouvet Cote De Nuits-Villages - An old dirty burg
2004 Beaux Freres Estate Pinot - Really in a nice place
2003 Beaux Freres Upper Terrace Pinot - Damn surprising for the vintage, wonderful wine

2013 Baudry Rose **
2010 Prevost Closerie Les Beguines ****
2008 Rhys Horseshoe Syrah **
1978 Torres Gran Coronas Reserva ***
2011 Ceritas Chardonnay Heintz ***
2007 Ridge Monte Bello ***
1987 LdH Gran Reserva Tondonia ****
2005 Denis Bachelet Les Corbeaux **
2011 Overnoy Chardonnay **
2012 Dauvissat Chablis AOC *

(out of 4 stars)

The Bachelet, Ridge, and Overnoy were all too young...probably unfair to grade them. The Prevost and LdH's were the two outstanding wines of the past 10. LdH is so youthful and bright at this point hardly showing much of the character of an aged LdH yet, but still delivering tons of enjoyment. Prevost, was a profound champagne. The best young bubbler I can remember having.

I really enjoyed it. MdT has always been my pet favorite in the Raveneau line, and I thought the 97 was in a pretty good place right now. It was the second time I've had it -- previous time was 4-5 years ago -- and this time was superior. Perhaps on the riper/softer side, but I thought the structure held up well and the balance was superb. Pretty much at its peak right now in my view.

sounds good. MdT has been a favorite of mine too. prices are getting scary for that 1er so i find myself trying to acquire more Butteaux now. fills my need for salty, chalky, floral, chablis...

Here is my list of the last ten (10) that I had along with the note of what I liked about the wine:
2012 Sojourn Sonoma Coast – a rich wine but with enough zip to keep the ripe fruit in check.

2012 Carlisle – Monto Rosso Zinfandel – stood up well to drinking on a sail boat with 12 to 15 mph winds.

2010 Passopisciaro Etna Rosso – Showed some elegance. Good acidity and light. I expect it will improve with some bottle age. It does not, however, stand up well to 12 to 15 mph winds on a sailboat. I advise tasting this wine “on hard” and not at sea.

2010 Castello d Ama – Ama – Chianti Classico. Tasted quite good with enough acidity to counter the penne with fried tomato paste, olive oil and garlic sauce. Gave a bottle to a friend and her reaction was “This is good wine.” I agree.

2010 Monsanto Chianti Classico Riserva – steady as she goes. Nice.

2010 Frescobaldi Chianti Rufina Nipozzano Riserva – nicely balanced, Went well with dinner.

2010 Tenuta delle Terre Nere Etna Rosso – A bit too acidic and disjointed at this time but still with a central core of lava and fruit.

2011 Kosta Browne Chardonnay One Sixteen – Drank at a corn roast. Good lemon/tropical fruit flavors with a lively finish and enough acidity to carry the wine.

2010 Torrin Akasha - I brought this to a wedding to have as part of the after party. There were plenty of other wines for the after-party so I brought it home. Enjoyed it with a nice steak dinner. Rich, full-bodied, but balanced.

2012 Bodegas Borsao - Campo de Borja
- Tasted (drank) at my nephew’s wedding. Good hearty wine to match with good hearty cheer, laughter, dancing and fun times.

Delicious! It was a pretty AFWE crowd and the person to my left said, "CA Pinot? I can pass on this one." I told her to try it after which she said "I can't believe I almost didn't taste this!"

I'd say it was pretty well mature with what for me read as ripe fruit married to earthiness and complexity. No rush to drink up. A 1991 tasted about 10-12 years ago still stands as my all time favorite but this was really, really good.
Ripe fruit isn't necessarily a flaw.

Nice, I wish I still had some 02s to drink! I'm going to attempt to not drink all of 08s and 09s too early. I really like the estate cab too.

You know, I don't think I've ever had their estate cab. I tend to start buying wines that someone opens for me and I like and no one ever opened a cab :(

I'll have to give it a try.

Been traveling and some of these were just local bar or hotel purchases

Back home
2014 Becklyn Moulds Reserve- could not wait to try
2013 Sebastiani sonoma cabernet
2014 Sbragia Home Ranch Chardonnay

On the road
2014 Louis Martini somoma cabernet (2 bottles)
2013 Mondavi napa cab
2014 Talbott kali hart chardonnay -yuck
2014 Edna Valley chardonnay - better
And an inexpensive 2014 pimot noir whose name and origins escape me but it was pretty impressive and offered good value, even at bar prices

2010 Gonon St. Joseph - angry to be opened, hide it
2009 Levet La Chavaroche - funky cold medina
2010 Clos Rougeard La Clos - archetype, very pretty
2013 Domaine Roche Neuves Les Memories - nice, over-priced
2011 Marcel Juge Cornas - stunning
2007 Levet Les Journaries - See above
2013 Clos du Val Napa Cabernet (2) - damn strong QPR, bought more
2014 Ridge Geyserville - buy more, and then double-down
2014 Kermit Lynch syrah - pretty basic hooch
2012 Peter Lauer Fass 6 (2) - for acid freaks, yum yum, bought much more
2005 Chateau d'Issan - wood
2004 Leoville Poyferre - more wood

Time to pop some more mature stuff, holidays are soon upon us!

Excluding dinners /cribbing the Tooch scale...

2005 L Michel Les Clos **.5
2001 Trimbach CFE (from half) **
2006 Huet CdB Demi **.5
2005 Huet Petillant ***
2009 Guion Prestige **
2012 Hevre Souhat Soutterone **.5
2012 U Colin Les Maillons **.5
(??) Anglore Tavel ***
2000 Baudry Croix Boissee ***
2012 Liquid Farm White Hill **

l'Anglore was probably the most memorable, the Baudry was excellent but we rushed through it, I still am smitten over the Soutterone after about 30 mins of air, and the Trimbach was perfectly nice, but doesn't scratch the same itch I get from Hirtzberger or Prager (if anyone wants to trade!)
