Today’s festivities included visiting my Grandfather and family in celebration of his 80th birthday. As soon as we showed up, I was handed a mysterious glass of what appeared to be Rosé by my aunt. The nose is dilute strawberry Gatorade with some alcohol. The palate is 100% stale jolly rancher strawberry with no real acidity to speak of. The finish is short, syrupy, and bares no resemblance to actual Rosé 69 pts.
In a better glass it would have been 95 points.
+1
Richards Wild Irish Rose.
Second blind wine: I honestly did not place this as wine. I thought this was a highball of vanilla spiced rum and stale Sprite. 50 pts.

I love the fly swatter next to the “glass” of Rose in the first picture! Hilarious
Ah yes, Tisdale. I see that on the shelves of the local drug store. Maybe $6/bottle? The successor of Turning Leaf, IIRC…

Good Lord, that terrible wine had me speaking in tongues. Next time, I’ll treat myself to a nice glass of Peanut Nore.
