Is Jermey Holmes related in any way to Jeremy? I really enjoy the style of Jeremy's notes. There is humor and obvious appreciation in them, and they describe the subject wines well without resorting to lists of flavor descriptors. Reading them leaves me with an impression of what it must have been l...

I have essentially already dropped everything except Copain because i am focusing on European wines again (Champagne in particular). I don't think I will drop Copain anytime soon unless Wells leaves or decides to change styles in some radical way. The wines just never fail to please me. I am conside...

Excellent bottle of wine. Still very dark in the glass, the nose is black cherry and mineral. The flavors remind of blood orange, forest floor and mushroom. In the mouth the wine is lithe, in no way heavy, but mouth-coating and full of flavor. The wine still seems a bit primary, but it is a pleasure...

Thanks, Frank, for the Copain notes, which I always read even if I don't comment. Copain produced some memorable wines in 2007. Nice notes. I bought a case of this wine on Berserkerday this year and have finished most of the case already. The wine really is interesting, with the leather and barnyard notes to compliment the fruit. Factor in the Berserkerday pricing, and this may take the prize as the best QPR wine purchase I ...

I have consumed many bottles of this wine since a Berserkerday two or three years ago, when I first came across it. To my palate, this is a wonderful wine. I started drinking Liquid Farm wines with the '11 vintage. I recall the White Hill '11 to have had characteristics in common with Chablis. It had a lean profile, with bracing acidity and some salinity. I might be in the minority here, but I have not had the same reaction to the '12 and '13 LF wines....
