Sauteed Zucchini.

Put saffron in water or broth, heat it, steep it. Saute squash in olive oil, add saffron liquid, which will infuse squash. Dish is done when squash is nicely browned with liquid burned off.

Curious what the OR folks thing about Love & Squalor. The 2013 WV Pinot is sub-$30 at my grocery store, and I've had probably three bottles as impulse-open-that-night purchases. It's a great wine for that price. Nice mix of red and dark fruit. No thinness that 2013s can sometimes have, solid medium...

Few years back we ate at Ramon Freixa in Madrid. I preferred it to the 3 Michelin star we did in San Sebastian. It was probably our favorite meal of our trip to Spain and was a relative bargain as I recall for the quality of food and service. If you like Octopus, La Pulpería de Victoria was good in ...

I always save corked bottles in anticipation of this request. Garagiste used to require me to ship the bottle back.

For local retailers like K&L and the Wine Club in San Francisco, I always bring the bottle back and generally request the credit in person next time I am in the shop.
