Re: Mike on Tour---Philadelphia, October 6

October 6th looks doable for me as of now...

Bibou has a limit of 4 for OpenTable... but bigger tables can be tough to come by anyways...

Put me down for this table for Saturday, representing Philly!

Who knows what I'll bring at this point... we'll see how the table develops... I'll do my best to make sure it doesn't embarrass Philadelphia

Re: West Coast Wines in Philly, June 25th

I'm going to bring one of the new Potts -- I believe the 08 Arsenal

Also, looks like we could use a dessert wine -- I don't have anything from the West Coast, except in my storage, but will plan to bring a Sauternes or Beerenauslese unless someone else has something that fits the bill better.

Re: Damn, Justin (and crew)

An amazing event. The only wine I had to add to Ken's list from Friday was a 98 Dunn Howell Mountain that was around. Saturday pre-dinner also had a Packing Rosy, and during the dinner select tables were able to try the 98 HdR, the 05 Alban Lorraine (Go PA!), and an 01 d'Yquem (Thanks Justin!) There...

Re: Lillian 2008 Offer Question

Lillian allocations are now up

Prices 750/mag

'07 Blue Label $95/$200
'08 Syrah $62/$125

All including shipping. A reasonable increase on the Blue Label ($75 last year) given the quality and the fact that shipping is now included and the Syrah is unchanged despite including shipping.

WTB: Lillian 07 Blue Label Allocation

I believe today is the day Maggie will be releasing -- I am interested in buying the Blue Label (and possibly some of the '08s) off anybody who isn't going to take their full allocation.

I love this stuff...

Send me a PM and we can work out details.

Thanks in advance!

Interesting... so is this akin to a "prequel" for the Ovid wines? Has anyone tried this? $285 per 3-pack (max 2) The 2004 E0.4 Experiment was made as a trial wine to be shared with our family and friends, before we had a name, a label, or a winery.
