Hi Jeff,

My old standby in Seattle, McCarthy and Scheiring. It wasn't on the shelf or anything but they said they could get it. It took a little longer than usual for these type of manual orders, about on a month, but as you can see, I'm happy with the results :)

Scott - I’d wager decanting would have helped - this was a PNP. Had similar wine with the 07 CdB Sec - funky / weird nose but great palate. 07 Le Mont was off the charts good in all respects.

Great note Robert, just bought a few of the 2000's and liked your feedback on that vintage as well. Can't wait to crack one when it gets delivered this fall.

Advice sought for 4th of July Saxum Bone Rock 2008-11

Fellow WB's, I have one bottle each of the Bone Rock for vintages 08 to the 11. I have never tried any of these (07 was great last summer) and was curious if there were any strong opinions on which vintage might show best or perhaps which one might be one to hold off on.

I don’t always drink Champers north of a hundred dollars, but when I do, I drink 2006 Taittinger Blanc de Blanc Comte’s de Champagne.
