2013 Vietti dolcetto and barbera and 2012 perbacco nebbiolo have all been great wines for me. The perbacco is $20, the others are closer to $15.

Great thread. I am actually heading out to Napa in a month and this is the style of cab/blends that I look for as well so I appreciate all of the suggestions! Already have a tasting scheduled at Smith-Madrone but there are certainly a few other recommendations in here that I did not know.

Drank some killer Carton 077 dry hopped with Mosaic hops on draft yesterday to celebrate national IPA. There were around 4-5 different version of o-dub available, each dry hopped with a different type of finishing hop. Good stuff.

Traditional risotto with some nice, sweet shrimp or lobster meat added to it before finishing goes great with Cali chardonnay............
