Re: Any Recommendations for 2010 Cotes du Rhone?

Been very disappointed by the '10 Cercius, Pesquie, and Vindemmio Imagine. Normally, I love CdRs and Cotes du Ventoux, but the '10s I've had have been too alcoholic, too acidic, and/or disjointed in some other way. I'm really surprised by how much I dislike them.

2009 Myriad Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Three Twins Vineyard - USA, California, Napa Valley (4/22/2012) I haven't had one of these yet and, with the new offer on the '10s coming out in June, wanted to get a sense of this cuvee before deciding about purchasing more. Interesting how posts drive auction prices. That Maze has been sitting at WineBid for a few weeks at $35 (originally 11 bottles?). I picked one up a few weeks ago but haven't taken delivery yet. It's now up to $42.

Re: TN: 2006 Shafer Cabernet Sauvignon One Point Five

The '01 is really drinking well at this point. My only experience with the '06 was at the winery 2+ years ago and it was just too young to enjoy (and majorly overshadowed by the '04 HSS served next to it). My wife gave me an '07 for Christmas that I'm looking forward to enjoying in a few years. She'...
