Man I started this thread a long time ago. Drank a lot of 09 Beaujolais with burgers and short ribs at Nicolas Robert. I gather that and le farm are both closed....haven't lived in CT since 2012 though I do work in greenwich occasionally.

In that spirit, my local nice store has a semi annual 30% off everything sale. They have a few bottles of 2014 Roumier sitting on the shelf for a while so picked up the last bottle of the 2014 Roumier Les Cras for under $300... I can't say the store is kept as cool as one would hope so will probably...

Sad to report Bar Uchu (not the Sushi part) has closed. I LOVED that place. So bummed. These small restaurants open with great young chefs and it works for awhile because they do not need to do much business to avoid losing money but then they realize you can never make money with an 8-12 seat rest...

Man the trimbach CFE didn't even have a bottle count on it and I missed....fess up who bought 2 cases? Happy with some of the other stuff though, excellent prices.

Also, true story, last year they missed my email for some reason but to make it up offered a similar wines at similar discounts.

Yes...I like Newark. Terminal C has its annoyances (not much regular seating, lots of high barstool type things...annoying with kids) but it's bright and even on Christmas and spring break weeks lines aren't too bad.

Shun quoted $75, one bottle max. Wine list seems to have huge variation in markups (anywhere from the usual 2.5-3x to much higher. Some bargains at the super high end below auction prices).
