Re: Premiere Napa Valley - Previewing 2018 Napa Cabs

Are you thinking the 18 vintage will be better than the 16? I love the 2016 vintage - and at this early stage I am placing 2018 slightly above it for Napa Cab (especially mountain fruit). Of course it is very early as these wines are not yet bottled. Our cabs won’t be bottled until early August and...

I buy a lot of wine.
I actually buy way too much wine.
To resist the urge to buy is futile.
The one definite buy for me are the delicious Cabernets of Jean Edwards Cellars.
Their Sauvignon Blanc is pretty damn good too.

Re: What Bedrock wine are you drinking tonight?

And the answer is?? My 2 cents. I opened one of these not too long ago and they need time. In fact I have found most Bedrock cabs need time. Thanks. I'm not planning on opening one until at least next year. I waited until day 2 to pass judgement as I felt this wine was weak on the pop n pour. Yes i...

I've only dealt with them once about a year ago, buying a mixed case of 2015 Cigliuti Barbera, 2016 Il Poggione Rosso and 2016 Vajra Nebbiolo. The wines were/are fine, the price points very good, their shipping rates were reasonable and my CC wasn't compromised.
