Collier is outstanding and should probably be at 2nd growth status...

Fabien Duveau is another outstanding producer... under the radar, in the mold of Collier with a great purity of fruit from Saumur.

Still doesn’t explain the variance in pricing from Costco locations one or two towns from each other. When I’m traveling locally to mtgs, I can stop by 2 or 3 Costcos if my clients and mtgs are spaced out just so. Read back further in the thread, and Total Wine has raised prices on existing stock of French wines based on the original 25% tariffs. So I think it can go either way. They DI most of their own goods, so they are responsible for the tariffs, they could have had some bad luck like we did and contain...

Jason, You keep using hyperbole that undermines your entire arguments. Barilla pasta is regularly available for $1 in grocery store. $2 could hurt the brand, but it won’t be your farcical $7. Use normal analysis, and I might take you seriously. Barilla in our neck of the woods isn’t $1... but ok.. ...

Wine is not a "pyramid scheme". It is a beverage produced from an agricultural product. The wine industry in this country has problems that go far beyond tariffs. I’ve always said that wine was a pyramid scheme waiting to tumble, if it does, so goes a lot of businesses and inevitably restaurants... you’re not seeing the whole picture it’s just not cheese and wine....
