Re: TN: 2014 Liparita V Cabernet-$20 ‘Solid’.

Thanks for the review Barry. I agree with your assessment that its a solid buy at $20. After reading your notes last night I went to the website and saw that they had 100 bottles in stock so I availed them of 24 bottles. I can see lots of "uses" for these wines, like PnPs mid-week, bringing a bottle...

I wonder if the waiting list is decreasing and if the time on the list is decreasing? I suppose, on the latter it depends solely on people dropping off. In other words, variables like yield do not play a part when transitioning people off the wait list. If not I still have a couple of years as it lo...

Most likely a coolant leak, which is common in that unit design. Unless there is a bunch of built up dirt blocking airflow. I've had multiple units with the same issue. Not sure there will be any interest in these at this price but I have three bottles still in OWC (never opened) at $550. Not interested in going any lower (per bottle price on WSPro is $199) on price as it reflects what I paid. Prefer DC handoff as it will be difficult to ship without opening the box.

I used to have three wine cabinets, all with Breezaire cooling units back in the day - they were analog (controlled the temperature with the turn of a knob) but they worked pretty good if you didn't mind switching them out every 8-10 years.
