I would love to see wineries list that they are using DIAM on the bottle label or capsule. If you are not familiar with a producers regimen it might then inspire confidence on the part of the consumer to make a purchase.

Sheldrake Point Finger Lakes. Theirs goes through malolactic and is usually very pale in color. Over the past few years they have really begun to dial it in. Great price too.

I realized I've been sitting on a decent amount of Cru Beaujolais from 2009 through 2015 (lots of JP Brun, Lapierre, Bouland, etc). I know it might come down to specific producers or sites, but any recent experiences pro/con with specific vintages?

Bombino Bianco is pretty much just another Italian curiosity. Besides Rivera's wine the only other varietal Bombino Bianco I have seen is one by Giancarlo Ceci called "Panascio". About $15.

A friend was flying recently and had a cheap bottle of whisky lifted. There was a TSA inspection note inside his luggage but no note of the confiscation. I wonder if they are removing these items because they believe there are improperly packed?

You could give xinomavro a try if can find a good retailer (with good cellar conditions). Kir-Yianni’s Ramnista or Alpha Estates’ Reserve vieilles vignes are good choices. The latter might be a bit more accessible initially, with favorable cellar development for complexity and tannins/acidity to me...

I have found a few of the Bedrock wines to be backward (some might say simple/dumb stage) at such a young age. Some of em' really fill out with a couple of years in the bottle. I'd be looking to drink slightly older vintages.
