Yes it fits Burgs and Champagne..... and a sidenote, it very well insulated and bottles hold their temp pretty well. The only gotcha is the 2 slots immediatey above the wheels are a little shorter than the others.... so very tall bottles will not fit in those 2 slots. Unless you want to pack 8 Riesl...

I have the 8 bottle Winecruzer. It a Pelican Case with foam cutouts, wheels and telecoping handle.
Filled it weighs less than 50 pounds. I have taken it all over the world with zero breakage or issues.

Good luck... I am a 1960 birthday also... not a great year anywhere.
I have had a few 1960 BV's that have survived ok..... but just survived.
Best bottle I have had has been a 1960 Vega Sicilia Unico.....
1960 Vintage Ports around and reasonable.... that probably your best bet.

Well it depends on how much you travel.... I like the upgrades and lounge access (on intl tickets)... plus being looked after due to irrops. I also find the ability to book award travel and cancel for free allows for a lot of travel optionality and flexiblity..... YMMV. I maintain both EXP status on...

I doubt you will find any " bargains" on camera equipment (unless you looking at used) in Japan.... Hard to beat Amazon/B&H pricing. Butj there is some stuff you can't find here.... but most prices are no better. There are a lot of cool stores in Japan -- dont miss Tokyu Hands or Villa...

Just have some non-flying activity (dining for miles is a good suggestion) to extend the expiration date of the miles.
They have the most value used for a flight when you NEED them. 12.500 miles is the low UA one-way redemption.
