2017 Hall Sauv Blanc (Napa) delightful wine that shows up on an irregular basis on our local shelves..When I see it, I buy it..Emphasizes fruit, not for fans of cat pee or lawn clippings..Would buy more often if I cd find it more often

Glad to see that they have reopened..Never ate at the Willi's in Santa Rosa but wife and I had some fun times at the one in Healdsburg..Took our daughter and son in law there the last time we were in Sonoma.

2016 Sigalas Santorini (Assyrtiko)..Ever since my daughter did a term abroad in Greece and introduced me to the wines of Santorini, this has become a regular buy for me..The acidity and minerality go well with a number of dishes that my wife and I enjoy.

Craig/Gerhard: thanks for the feedback..I haven't bought any Aligote in quite a while, tho I will keep an eye out for the Goisot mentioned by Thomas....These days I tend to drink Macons, St Veran's, Les Setilles from Olivier LeFlaive and a number of Muscadets.

no experience re the Leroy Aligote, the best Aligote I have tasted came from A+P de Villaine..Kermit Lynch had it recently at $40..Is the De Villaine Bouzeron a different wine? Nick mentions it as being <$30.

2016 Seghesio Arneis (Sonoma)..notes of pear on the palate, crisp acidity..even better than a previous bottle, (which was quite nice), drinking well and in a good place.

as many have already pointed out, you can drink quite well and inexpensively without drinking any brands that you ever heard of, while travelling in Italy, France, Austria..

2010 Donelan Cuvee Keltie Syrah ... Definitely rewarded cellaring, the best of the Donelan wines that I have consumed to date, still have some of their Walker Vine Hill and Kobler Syrah's left to try..purchased at the winery 2012 when Tripp Donelan graciously tasted me through a range of their wines...

2013 Wolffer Cabernet Franc..North Fork, Long Island(NY)..In a word, delicious..lovely wine, notes of spices and violets, smooth as silk..rewarded cellaring, purchased at the winery during trip to LI 2016.

2015 Selbach Riesling Piesporter Michelberg, easy drinking wine, not distinguished, per se, but really nice middle of the week wine, better than a previous bottle tasted last year.
