2014 Borgo Scopeto Chianti Classico..reasonably priced CC, drinking well, no prior experience with this wine so no opinion re whether it will benefit from extended cellaring but certainly has the stuffing to be drinking well a few yrs from now.

+1 re what Ramon said..probably Cordier Funk..love those 89 Cordiers..Meyney was especially a terrific bargain..My memory ain't what it used to be but I think the 89 Meyney ran me about $12/bottle back in the day

bought 24, got one as gift = 25, drank 9 for net "gain" of 16..no purchases anticipated for December..but who knows? ditto re gifts?..perhaps I'll gt back on track this month as I did some of my previously anticipated December wine shopping in November...

2016 Hess Collection Cabernet Sauvignon Allomi Vyd, popped and poured, fragrant nose, lots of black fruits on the palate, no clue whether this will improve with cellaring or how long it might hold at this level but drinking quite nicely now, no need to wait.

2013 Bedrock North Coast Syrah...no rush if ya got em, I think this one still has room for improvement, will reward continued cellaring and wd not be surprised if it goes out to 2023 or beyond.

I have enjoyed several bottles of the 2018 La Pepie..agree that it seems a little dialed down but frankly haven't given any thought as to why,etc..I agree that it is a very food friendly wine..Since I typically drink wine with meals or occasionally with snacks and rarely as a stand alone, can't comm...

2016 Goodfellow Whistling Ridge Blanc AKA "The Crack"..Hadn't paid any attention to the blend when tasted with Megan in June, was too busy enjoying the wine..Looking at back label, was kinda surprised to see there is a healthy dollop of Pinot Noir..Don't sweat the components, just enjoy the wine.

+1 re what Howard said..I too use the 6 bottle carry bags to bring wine down to my cellar..much easier,and safer, than schlepping a case down the stairs..and my back thanks me every time

2008 Rafanelli Cabernet Sauvignon, Sonoma..still drinking well but starting to show some signs of age, wd drink now rather than hold, doubt it will improve with further cellaring

drank 12, purchased 9(includes 6 pack from Biggio Hamina that arrived in October) = -3..Given some planned purchases from now to year end, I suspect there will some + figures for November and December.

2017 Elizabeth Chambers Chardonnay, Hope Well Vyd, Eola Amity Hills..Full bodied chard, stone fruits and pear notes,,perhaps a bit more oak than I wd prefer but the oak seems well integrated

Radikon is kinda hard to source and I doubt that Pinot Grigio drinkers wd recognize it as PG..Zenato is pretty easy to find and pretty reliable, ie drinkable

I go back a number of years with Bedrock..IMHO, the only new release Bedrocks I wd pop and pour wd be the Rose and the whites, all the rest need time..My rule of thumb is 5 years., still drinking my 2013's.

My bottles of the Berserker Cuvee arrived recently and are slumbering in the cellar..I did taste the wine with Meagan at the winery in June..I thought the wine was delicious, quite vibrant..Wd let your bottles settle down a bit to avoid any travel shock then pop and pour

2006 Alpha Omega Cabernet Sauvignon..Lovely wine, the last of my AO's..Am in process of drinking down my cellar so unlikely to reload..I don't see this improving with further cellaring tho it does not appear to be in danger of going OTH,,Wd drink now rather than hold.

Monday night, 2016 La Pepie Muscadet, tonight, 2016 Sigalas Santorini (Assyrtiko)..Our oldest daughter did a term abroad in Greece while in college and introduced me to the wines of Santorini when she returned home..Have been a fan ever since.

2016 Youngberg Hill Pinot Noir "Cuvee", willamette Valley..the is a blend of several vineyards..tasted and purchased at the winery..The single Vineyard PN's, named after their daughters, offered more depth but will need some cellaring

night #2 re the 1997 Monty..nose has perked up a bit,more floral..ditto on the palate, now tastes like a graceful aging cab, still attractive but no longer at peak..Doubt it will improve but doesn't taste or smell corked..
