2017 Goodfellow Whistling Ridge Chardonnay...Lovely wine, went well with Teriyaki Salmon and wild rice..One of the best white wines I have tasted in a long time..Bravo, Marcus, well done!!

2018 Lioco Chardonnay, Sonoma..Pleasant, refreshing midweek chard, reasonably priced, crisp but not bracing or shrill acidity..Seems designed for short term drinking, doubt it will reward extended cellaring, drink now to end of 2021.

2013 Bedrock North Coast Syrah..I am an old Bedrock drinker, (in more ways than one,) going back, as far as I can tell to Morgan's 2008 vintage..having consumed all too many Bedrocks before their time, I have come to the hard learned conclusion that Bedrocks need at least 4-5 yrs to show their best....

2012 Ridge Geyserville..This Geezer drinking quite nicely tho no rush if ya got em, easily a 10-12 yr wine, possibly even longer..fragrant nose,Violets and wildflowers, tannins fully integrated and seamless, lots of black cherry and blackberry in the mouth with some licorice as well..

don't know if they are available in your area but Columbia Crest white wines might work..large production and reasonably priced and perhaps a bit more nuanced than Yellow Tail while still having some of the same characteristics that you were looking for.
