Forget who made it but there is a nice sparkler from Chile that was a blend of CHardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. I had never seen them together, or a sparkler from SB, but it was great for a $20 sparkler...

I love Collioure, once again the wine and the town! I agree Gauby is amazing, can be difficult to find. I like Domaine La Tour Vieille a lot too. Imported by Kermit Lynch, so not hard to find. Sadly I don't think they import any of their white wines, just the Reds and Banyuls.

Over the years we've used many different things but the brown paper bags seem to be the best. Good thing is you can't tell if it is Burgundy or Bordeaux shaped bottle. Also cheap, usually free from wine stores and disposable if they get spilled on.

Wilson Creek in Temecula makes an Almond Sparkling wine... Not a fine wine by any means, but it's also the only Temecula wine available here in Utah, so it does have a wide distribution...
