I was watering the front yard of newly planted roses and lavender when my neighbor across the street called for me and asked: "Do you like wine?" Curiously, I turned around and replied "yeah, I do." Re: Terroir vs winemaking -- Neal Martin lays the smack down

When it comes to burgundy, it seems the order to go by is: Producer, Vintage, then Vineyard. Now that's not to say there aren't exception to this, but I do find the above to help narrow down the field when looking to buy or try new burgundies. I think we can agree that a producer can significantly a...

Thanks for the notes Mark. 14 Allemand Reynard and SS are definitely great wines. The fragrance on both are mesmerizing. Also loved the 2005 Rayas - had it in Paris a few years ago and it was phenomenal. Rushed to buy more when I got back.

Agree with Anton - post on Commerce Corner (not sure if there is a pre-requisite to be able to post), and list out which producers and vintages you'd like. It can be as broad as "Bordeaux - 1990 to 2000" to as specific as "Leoville Poyferre 1996". Lots of great people that sell good stuff. Good luck.
