I spent a long time on the phone with them negotiating the rate. At the end of the day, they couldn't offer a big enough discount to make it feasible with my margins. They actually direct their user to the lowest cost option available, so they squeeze you at both ends. Mark up to mitigate their fees...

I'm taking my 6yo daughter on a "father/daughter trip". We are staying at the Mauna Kea Hotel in early April. I've never been to the big island before and would love some suggestions. My daughter is a good sport, so not everything has to be super kid friendly.

I've had many wonderful experiences in Morocco and only one scary one. I wouldn't be super comfortable with my wife traveling alone there, but with basic safety measures, she should be fine.

It was indeed. 2000 saw the Guigal oak regimen, but 1999 was simply bottled buy them.

Zachy's sold a six pack of 90 rav vaillons in June of this year. Seller received $306 per bottle. 87 isn't the greatest vintage. I'd expect $200-$250 if you consigned it today.

Arnaud Lambert is making awesome wines under the Chateau de Breze and Saint Just labels. The clos de la rue always reminds me of white burgundy. Very clean wine making and the fruit has a fine mineral streak to it. I love it, but I sometimes crave the more wild pithy fruit of other chenin producers.
