This is a major issue and I would love to find a suitable alternative. It sounds like bedrock is using cheap shippers, because the decent ones don't break apart like that during shipping. Mine are in the oven on their 5th round of seasoning. I got all the gunk off of them with bar keepers friend and some elbow grease. Looking forward to using them! My stargazer pans are finally in route after a hiccup on their end. Going to have a serious quiver to choose from.

Just a quick note. I prefer Sturehof to Wedholm's Fisk. Both has great dishes. Sturehof has a much better wine list, is more casual, and has great people watching.

How do you cook hangers or skirt without them still being fairly chewy or is that just the way they are Just cook to med rare and cut it against the grain. The grain changes direction throughout the piece of meat, so it isn't super straight forward. Its chewy if rare and chewy if cut along the grain.

I spent a long time on the phone with them negotiating the rate. At the end of the day, they couldn't offer a big enough discount to make it feasible with my margins. They actually direct their user to the lowest cost option available, so they squeeze you at both ends. Mark up to mitigate their fees...

I've had many wonderful experiences in Morocco and only one scary one. I wouldn't be super comfortable with my wife traveling alone there, but with basic safety measures, she should be fine.

Zachy's sold a six pack of 90 rav vaillons in June of this year. Seller received $306 per bottle. 87 isn't the greatest vintage. I'd expect $200-$250 if you consigned it today.
