Re: Virgin Islands Charter

When all of the COVID started Colorado was on the hot list for the BVI, so we talked to our friends that are in Ohio and told them if they could fill our cabin they could go without us. Then it was just a few days later the BVI officially closed. Our friends had already refilled our cabin thinking a...

The last I read a few days ago residents and belongers that were out of the territory when the lockdown began can return on June 2, and visitors can come in starting on Sept 2. I have read varying reports about whether this has been codified or if it is subject to change.

Brig, Ryan, have you done your trips yet or are they still upcoming? I hear the Sandbox on Prickly Pear opened a few days ago. No mooring balls yet, but good holding if at anchor. Or a pretty easy dinghy from Leverick.

5 ish weeks of tax season left then I'm out of here!

Brig, we normally do 1-2 days on the dock at Leverick Bay. Rent a car for 24 hours and show the newbs VG, then if we’re off the dock by 9, we’re moored by 11 at Setting Point, Anegada. Rent a car, or cab to Cow Wreck, and enjoy the day. Dinner back at Wonky Dog. Make reservations before heading out ...

When I was traveling for work I’d always bring a binder clip to clip together curtains that left a sliver of light through. That's a great tip. Anegada - probably our favorite island followed closely by VG and JVD. If you like to slow down and relax this is the island. Unlike the rest of the USVI/BVI this is a flat island (27 feet at highest pt above sea level). Watch your draft in the mooring field as it can get too shallow in areas for so...

I would second what George said regarding storm damage.
