Sold out but tried the fish. The tartar sauce wasn’t bad and made a surprisingly decent fish sandwich when assembled with a bakery sourced Portuguese roll.

Also concerned to hear about Cagen. They turned me on to flying fish, and I appreciated that they served fish that were not commonly found in the states. I think there are too many high end Sushi restaurants. For what it is worth I thought Cagen was the best especially comparing it to ones that are...

Fine Tea especially Chinese Oolong & Puerh.

Puerh & Oolong Tea reflects terroir.
Tea has varietals that produce red & whites.
Puerh and certain Oolong improve with aging.

Kass - good for corkage wine dinners. Alta - I really liked everything we tried here even if the ridiculously stingy fried chicken was way too expensive it had great flavor. Loved the Ox Tail. Slab - generous meaty ribs marred by the cloyingly sweet sauce that it is bbqed with. The key here is to ma...

Krug 167e

Served in Pinot glass at Republique. Thin and acidic similar to 166e but this also has a green bitter component in the finish that is unpleasant. As good as 165e and potentially 164e are the 166e and 167e are not.
