We ran into a similar issue in our house in NJ. Ended up having a contractor pour a slab with three outlets on their own circuits. The pad was so we had a level floor area. Have three units side by side

There is the old napkin trick. Empty the contents into another bottle or decanter. Using a cloth napkin, fold a corner to make a spoon shape, slide the napkin corner into the bottle, and try to “catch” the cork in the napkin fold. Then slowly pull it towards the neck and out of the bottle.

Roasting away, keep a butter soaked cheese cloth on top till the last 45 minutes. Started at 425, dropped to 325 once in the oven.

This is always a crowd pleaser, I have substituted chicken stock for the cream and still comes out very good. Always salt, pepper, and nutmeg.

Couple years ago moved 600+ bottles from our old house to where we are now, about 6 cases at a time over several weeks. To this day I still count the number of steps into our basement, since I could not easily see over the box for the last step.

When I was 14-15, dad worked and mom had passed a few years before this, so regularly started dinners. The days of shake and bake pork chops, cook till shoe leather then serve.
