Alisos Canyon AVA

I see the area around Los Alamos in Santa Barbara finally got their own AVA - Alisos Canyon. One of my favorite vineyards, Thompson, is there. I thought White Hawk was up there too but they don't seem to be listed on the announcement I saw. Anyone know?

Syrah/cab is fairly rare, the main ones are in Provence (trevallon and others?) And clos Saron makes an awesome one.
And Herzog used to make a 50% Napa Cab, 50% Paso Syrah blend that was pretty good. Don't know if they still do.

So, what's going to be first: the tasting rooms or the beaches?
Beaches in Ventura county have been "open" for a week or more now. However, "open" means no sitting on the beach - you can walk, jog, run, swim - just no standing still. But hey, it's a start. I understand San Diego county is similar.
