Altar from Floodland.Just a pleasure to drink, somewhat citrusy on the finish with a hint of hops.Actually a hoppy fragrance on the nose as well.I wish I had more, my son and I killed 2 750’s in about 15 minutes.Not overly complex , just really good beer.

Does anybody remember the late harvest dessert wine they used to make?I think it was Viogneir.Man that was some seriously good stuff, had a catchy name that I can’t remember.

Had a 375 of the 2015 Pride Cab in Maui last week, really nice Napa Cab.I bought a lot of this stuff in the late 90’s and early 2000s and loved it.

I don’t have a huge sample size, but I would give the edge to Burgundy.Many more memorable Bourgogne Rouges
Than entry level Ore. Pinots.Now the level tilts Ore. when you go +$50-100.

Picked up a bottle of the Kirkland Small batch Tennessee Bourbon out of curiosity, it’s really quite good lots of Carmel and spice and hides the 103 proof well, no bite whatsoever.Around $50 per liter in Wa. Cheaper in every other state.I’ll buy again when I’m in Oregon or Illinois.

My son is furloughed, EPA project manager, the difference between you all and him is that he will get paid for all days furloughed, you will not.It is not slave labor as referenced above ,they get paid for not working.We should all wish for that kind of security.

The pot still should be easy to find around 35-40.The rye will be a little harder but worth the search.I have a fair amount of the 2,3 and 4year rye.We can work something out if you can’t find any.I think I paid around $50 for them.

I love grappa and Marc (mostly de Bourgogne) I haven’t found any suppliers stateside, but I did like the grappa produced under the Aroujo label a number of years ago I had a few bottles of this when I was on the list, and it wasn’t too bad. Just found one of the Araujo Grappa’s , Harvested 09/27/00...

We did this for the 05 and 06 vintage with Syrah grapes from Thompson Vineyard and Cab from a vineyard we were sworn to secrecy to protect the source.
