Not sure what to make of the disdain for Woodinville. While it is obviously not "wine country", for someone like me, who lives a good thousand miles from any winery, the opportunity to taste new vintage wines at 100 different tasting rooms......well it sure beats tasting orange juice!

Tablas is a great visit and really over-delivers in terms of quality for $$$. Also, a nice change of "taste" from many of the "Big" styled wines you often see in Paso. Also with Covid, tasting is by reservation and more personal.

So much truth there. Which is exactly why I rail against some of these classic wines flipping to consultants, cause then you lose that sense of what the Chateau is all about. It’s no longer that same wine. Some may like it better, but it’s not the same style. And those that allow the pendulum swing...
