A Prince and a Gentleman. Many years ago before a trip to Sonoma and Napa, I contacted Rusty on his recommendations for smaller producers he enjoyed. His insights were spot on. He will be missed.

Purchase James Halliday’s Wine Companion. The book would be the first place to look for winery information and cellar doors with restaurants, then branch out from there.

Andrew, the Arneis didn’t pair well with a Vinaigrette dressing on my salad but a great match with mussels in a garlic, butter and wine wine preparation.

If the wine is a great price, you can always buy and donate to a charity although the new tax law makes that less attractive for someone that will use the new standard deduction.

I have several, but you will have to pay for shipping from Iowa. Just send shipping labels for how many and what size (I think I have two and three mag sizes).

Grrrrr.....calling about the corkage policy only to be told.....

One also needs to ask or if listed on the menu, the corkage based on the size of the bottle - per 750, per mag, etc. I learned that lesson asking per bottle fee, but not that I was bringing a magnum.

A helpful recommendation to participating wineries - ask them to disclose whether or not they limit the number of packs one can purchase. Last year I purchased multiple packs of an offer only to find out I was limited to one. I would have sought out other offers if I had known.

It would be appreciated that knowing whether or not you could only buy one "package" in a listing. I tried to buy two of same package but was only allocated one. I would have opted to buy one of Bailiwick's other packages if I had known.
