I’ve only stayed on one. It was very nice (the St Regis) but I couldn’t possibly say it’s the best unless I had stayed in all the others, or at least a representative sample.

Yandex is the ‘Georgian Uber’ it’s not quite as smooth but it worked fine in the city. Taxis (it works Ruth normal cabs as drivers) are very very cheap but mostly pretty shitty.

Pheasants tears is an interesting one. It’s the only wine from Georgia I had tasted and remembered in the UK.

But didn’t see it for sale once in Tibilisi. Maybe they have a savvy owner/export manager.

I was in Tbilisi last week. There are many excellent wines available and for very little locally.

A store called 8000 vintages says they ship internationally but I didn’t ask about logistics. Huge range and very knowledgable staff.

Works out about $0.25 a (very large in my case) cup. For an (effectively) organic product grown and roasted by a single individual teamaster in Taiwan.

Yeah the answer to milk and sweetener is never.

I like greener Oolongs, mostly from Taiwan. I buy via Postcard Teas in London and usually have 2-3 on the go.

The main benefit I found was if you frequently travel in economy so you get priority check in, boarding and lounge access.

If you are flying business you get all that anyway so what the point really.

I don’t see VCC as being stylistically very similar to Lafleur. Pricing for Lafleur and VCC went into orbit in 05. Both were ‘very reasonable’ before.

Very little Pensee in 18 it seems.

Summer 2017, the new location.

The list is a bit mixed in terms of value, Coche well priced, Champagne generally not (with exceptions).

You will find something good to drink at a price you want to pay.
