Every purchase most likely is going to be shared with others that enjoy wine, turning them on to a new label, and one perhaps that they may want to seek out and purchase on their own.

Interesting points. I walked into my Total Wine today with a 20% coupon. I was surprised to see what appeared to be a total price re-set on Bordeaux. Pricing up $5 to $15+. For example, Lanessan at 29.99 over 24.99. Potentsac up $5. Etc. I assume it’s a tariff reset, but in anticipation of I think....

Have you seen what the price for daycare is these days? Throw in the increase in groceries. The average American is now thinking twice when it come to the prices wine has risen to these days. One decent bottle of wine or a case or two of Corona's. Something had to give.

Even with the discount, I haven't bought anything that they inflated prices on, and I'm very unlikely to ever do so. I grabbed about 8-10 additional cases of the 14-16's last year so I'm good.

Unless you have completely down the burgundy rabbits hole, from which there's no coming back, buy quality age worthy wine from ALL the regions you enjoy. I've turned my back on areas I've loved drinking, only to come back with a new vigor 5 years later, and glad to know I have some older selections ...
