Tasted the 2002 Le Migne Vigne with a friend back in April (he brought it back from Piedmont in May of 2017) and we were very happy with how it showed given the vintage. Aromatics were lifted, palate was bright and airy. Tough vintage, and we both thought the wine over-delivered. That said, grey mar...

nice notes Alan - great to see you and the rest of the team.

loved the Verset, the Allemand SS was gorgeous (i think that was my favorite of the evening...), Burgundies were a fun diversion, and I was glad how the Juge showed.

looking forward to being back out west in a couple of weeks.

To me, this sounds like a challenge. We have all reveled in buying $30 bottles that turn into $100 bottles (see Gonon SJ, for instance). I don't expect this to change. Today's usual, normal, QPRs may turn into tomorrow's cool, sleek, sexy bottle. For instance, I was buying Juge without an issue for ...

Thought the Souhat was spicy and bqeautiful. Was also impressed by the Gonon blanc (not mentioned above) it seemed to be in a nice spot.

Sorrel was great, but the 13 Paris was my favorite of the evening. 2013 Northern Rhône continues to impress.
