Re: Wine Aging

Welcome, Jelana hope you enjoy it here. Price and quality are all over the map with wines. There is a correlation—more expensive wines tend to taste better, but don’t bet on it. One reason is that people have very different tastes, so one person may love a wine that another can’t stand. Then wines f...

As I understand it, there are two main ways it's transmitted: !. By an infected person sneezing or coughing (or maybe even heavy breathing, I'm not sure about that) and you breathing in some of it. It's recommended to stay 6 ft. away from anyone with the virus to prevent this. Of course, people are ...

Thanks for the TN, Dale. Montenidoli puts out some great wines. The only Vernaccia I've tried was the 2011, which I enjoyed very much (see my TN on CT), except for the last bottle in 2017 which was a bit over the hill. Actually, my experience with the Chianti Colli Senesi and the Canaiuolo (a rosé) ...

We were at Marea on Jan. 26 as part of a party of eight. Sorry to say, as others have reported here, it was not up to what it's been (we were there about a year ago and that meal was much better). A dry blueberry sparkler sounds unique. It is quite unique, and very fun to make cocktails with. But, his blueberry sparkler is made under a different label (Bluet) and I don't think is going to be part of this offer. Terrien Wines makes Chards from Sonoma, and Pinots. I put it in after the first pour. If you want to put it back in after a second pour, make sure you cover the filter with your thumb during the second pour so it isn’t exposed to oxygen outside the bottle. Re: Repour wine saver - anyone use this?

Still using these very often. As others have said, they're for a few days to maybe a week. Longer and you risk losing the wine. My guess is this happens because the seal isn't perfect, so a bit of oxygen sneaks in and over time will spoil the wine.
