Yeah very few if any deals... if you're trying to move product to support wineries you might as well offer good prices

I would buy some, but have been getting those looks with spring shipments arriving at home while we are both working from home.

Riesling - Eroica is probably still the best example in WA
I have seen recent vintages around $14. Seems like price has gone down on this wine. Very good stuff for the money.

For my money, the best maker and blender of Bordeaux varietals in the state is Chris Camarda at Andrew Will, and his son, Will Camarda. Agree. Their base bottles are very approachable now. The 2014 & 2016 Andrew Will Cabernet Sauvignon (USA, Washington, Columbia Valley) were both super approachable...

Minneapolis I could find only one wine shop with a decant sale right now. People in these tough times must be filling to pay full retail for wine.

I am going to try the Pinot from Willamette. This is a three-way blend of clones 115, 777 and Pommard.

Aged in French oak. Cases produced: 73 For $14 dollars can't believe much better from Oregon at that price!

Having had the ‘14 Mr. B multiple times now, as well as the ‘08 and ‘11 Continuity, I just want to chime in that these are delicious wines and - at 50% off on case purchases - ridiculously good values.

I wish I’d found Davenport years ago.
Andrew those Mr B's are a no brainier at that price.

I always enjoyed the Velvet Glove wines a few years after release. Usually if it got 98 or more from Parker best to drink right away.

Very smart to not over charge with takeout. I was wondering how restaurants that were allowed to do take out of liquor were going to do this.

Minneapolis Wine Shops have done nothing interesting. The only thing they email me everyday is that they are still open. You think a 30% off sale would be in order. They must be doing well so no sales right now.

Similar routine here. Old and mature bottles are mostly or completely consumed on day one, while I have no hesitation to give young bottles two days. I'll be the dissenter, but I hated the 2009. Bought a 375ml and it was all dill and vanilla.....got worse over 3 days. I like the other LRA cuvees, but this was possibly the worst, non-flawed wine, I had in 2019.
Probably an off bottle. I got dill and wood but it didn't dominate the wine.

That may be because I tend to drink more mature reds.
Agree with that. Most of the wines I do 3 day reviewing tend to be less than 10 years from vintage. I would not dare try 25 year old wines on day 2 if they were drinking well on 1.
