My favorite vintage of the decade. Have not tasted any in 5 plus years so short life might be accurate but they were great with 10 or less years of age.

Unless they have dramatically altered the winemaking style, I wouldn't be surprised if they can age a bit. I've had a bunch of 92-97 Tapestry in the last few years, and all were quite solid, comparable in their aging/complexity/fruit to Bordeaux of the same age, maybe richer if anything. I put away...

Had the 04 in 13 and noted mature. I would think 01 would hold up better. I found the 04s to drink great at six to ten years.

At this point, I wouldn't buy Domaine Serene at any price.
I like the Reserve but price is a bit much. You can get two Vincent or four Stangeland for the price.

Stealing. There are no Napa Producers that make wine at that price point that compare. They should have submitted these wines to the "critics" and they would still be in business.

I know they have limited shipping to other states over the years. Each state I would imagine requires paper work and taxes are different. You can always inquire with them but I know they stopped shipping to MN a while ago.

Do you support any wineries at their SRP? Only if it is direct from the winery. None of the wines I purchase in Minneapolis are at the SRP. We have some of the best deals in the country here in Minneapolis from shops like WineStreets, Sunfish Cellars, 1010 Washington Wine & Spirits and a few others.
