Surprises me not all Don, I think we both agree the Armada is the real gem (over the frog) of the Cayuse lineup. The 07 was the best domestic Syrah I have ever had.
I should have saved the 2 2001 Frog's and could have sold them for a mint today!

Some restaurants have eliminated corkage.
I always wonder how many people on a given night even bring in a bottle. Other than offlines I don't ever recall anyone brining in a bottle to a local restaurant.

I usually think of TW as an excellent place to get a good price on mediocre large production wines.
Several places in Minneapolis offer even better prices on those mediocre wines. When they arrived they offered good prices to lure the customer in and now they are about average pricing in town.

If you live here locally they will refund your money. Would not recommend any out of state purchases on older wine. As others have said terrible storage. Vertical storage for 15 years never seems to go well with wine.

My favorite vintage of the decade. Have not tasted any in 5 plus years so short life might be accurate but they were great with 10 or less years of age.

Unless they have dramatically altered the winemaking style, I wouldn't be surprised if they can age a bit. I've had a bunch of 92-97 Tapestry in the last few years, and all were quite solid, comparable in their aging/complexity/fruit to Bordeaux of the same age, maybe richer if anything. I put away...

At this point, I wouldn't buy Domaine Serene at any price.
I like the Reserve but price is a bit much. You can get two Vincent or four Stangeland for the price.
