2015 Schramsberg Vineyards Blanc de Blancs (USA, California)
If it is solid will have to get more. For under $30 I have always found their wines to be of tremendous value.

Robert just tried it today at a $10 tasting in Minneapolis. It really stood out at a tasting with more than 100 wines. Still can't believe how many good wines they had for $10!

Do they still cook the wines for no extra charge?
Bought from them 10 years ago so got lucky as all the wines were drinkable. Everything after I purchased from them didn't have good pricing. I can't remember the sale I got in on but it was offering excellent pricing.

How was it on day one?
Not worthy of a note as it was harsh and abrasive. I have had this wine 2 previous times and this bottle was tight. Should age for a while.

How long did you slow ox or decant?

I was disappointed in many their 2013s. Took hours to open up and even then most seemed thin and flat. This post makes me hopeful for the 14s.
13 has been hit or miss for me. Not the best vintage.

Nice. I've enjoyed the entire Sixto line from Charles. I slightly prefer them to his great Syrahs.

I have enjoyed Aussie wines from 2004. Certainly not a cheap wine. I typically enjoy the Grenache based wines from Australia but Les Amis is out of my current price range.

The problem? It’s not Riesling.
Agree but I still like Chards. I would say if it is a Germany Riesling it has a decant chance of being very drinkable.

Always good to have those type of wines on hand and not too expensive either for friends. I loved the 04 of this wine the first time I tasted it.

Once Mondavi sold the wine has gone way downhill. You have a reserve label. I assume you had the Napa as the Reserve for $20 would be a steal!
