That is an expensive six pack of Coors. I can get decant IPAs for $7.99 a six pack.

Mondavi Napa for a bit more used to be solid for under $20 but that has fallen flat. There are not many good Cabs under $20 but Substance gets the weekdays covered or your weekend non wine geek friends covered.

I enjoy a soda with my Culver's Butter Burger but did not want to risk sneaking in wine to the fast food restaurant tonight to mix it with it. I highly recommend Culver's Root Beer straight.

I get the Porty note. Would agree not traditional CDP but seems like the vintages of the mid to later 2000s sometimes become high alcohol to appease Parker.

I would agree with 05. I had the 03 in 2013 and I liked it but the longer it sat in the glass the less I enjoyed it. Would probably drink some of those up sooner than later.

Interesting. I drank a bottle in late 2017 and one in early 2018. The first was a little oxidized and was porty. The second was just a bit porty. I wasn't thrilled with either. Both were purchased on release and stored with temperature control. I have had this wine 4 times and not a bad bottle yet....

I just got a local email for their lineup for $8.99 a bottle which seems solid. Are these good every day drinkers? We were going to stop at their tasting room on the way to Walla Walla but they were closed and ended up at Airfield instead.

no problem in MN. Call ahead to make sure. Many strange laws out there. I had a first at a event where only the servers could pour the wine and I could not. Each restaurant has different policies I am sure.

Some of the winery direct wines we all have heard of however their biggest profit margins are the no name wineries they really push. This Pinot Noir is as good if not better than the one you are selecting sir and it is $4 cheaper.

They have remained excellent values over the years.
We have a shop in Minneapolis/ Surdyk's that carries a fair number of German Rieslings. Hardly anyone buys them hence the prices have remain constant over the years. In the heat German Rieslings all day long!
