As a lawyer, I didn't think that "going after people for misusing his content" was a particularly unique approach. I watched that, and all I could think about was how irresponsible these people were. What that guy was doing with the saber was so dangerous, I would have fired him. The guy holding the bottle could have easily wound up in the ER.

For me, it's an uniquely intense minerality as well as a clarity of flavors. I think of old vine Sauvignon Blanc from Sancerre, and how the dynamic is night and day most times. Same with Riesling and Gruner

There are a good number of wineries mentioned that have sold off to larger firms (Calera, Copain). The ones that come across as tongue in cheek like Fourrier are obviously due to very high prices, another good reason.

My 2 cents- If you LOVE Bordeaux, and are seriously considering buying- GO. If you aren't buying, but could be swayed, GO. If you have no interest in Bordeaux, and have no intentions of buying, it's a probably not the best use of your time.
