Both Fedex and UPS will deliver to a local holding point. For me it is a Walgreens or the local UPS store, both close.

Opened a 2006 Andrew Will Champoux Vineyard last night and it was excellent as a pnp. Very balanced, will see how the remaining wine holds up over the next few days.

Try this instead for about $13 Domaine des Cassagnoles Côtes de Gascogne Reserve Selection Manseng. Excellent quality and readily available.

get an Arlo Q webcam, $132 at best buy and easy to install if you have an electrical outlet in your cellar. If no outlet use the battery operated version. It will solve the issue and provide proof. Also not very noticeable.

I still buy 2 cases each year, pinot and syrah. Good pricing on excellent syrahs. Still have vintages back to 2009 and they are drinking well.

Our favorite is the Domaine de Mourchon Côtes du Rhône Villages Séguret Rosé Loubié which we get several cases each year from Flickinger. Great value and a crowd pleaser.

One is 4 years old, the other is 2 years old. No problems with either. Not sure that we paid that high a price for them, seems like they were about $800.

We have 2 GE Profile 57-Bottle Wine Cooler in Stainless Steel that are super quiet and have been reliable. Not so good for champagne bottles though.

As I have aged I find that I no longer enjoy Bordeaux and some other wines that were my favorites long ago. Now I need more fruit and am less tolerant of tannic bottlings. 1949 Chambolle Musigny from Les Amis du Vin no producer info but it was excellent when I first started drinking wine. 1961 Chapoutier Hermitage.

Tasted bottles of the 1997 bordeaux blend and the 1997 cabernet early this summer, both bottles were outstanding and still youthful.

Recently had the 1997 Dehlinger Bordeaux blend and the 1997 Dehlinger Cabernet Sauvignon courtesy of Doug Goodwillie. Both wines were among the best California cabs that I have ever tasted and were still capable of further ageing. Well stored Dehlinger can last!!

Got on the SQN mailing list and bought complete allocations. Tasted a few and did not find them worth the cost and not to my taste. Sold most at auction and kept a few to see how they develop long term. Love Peay syrah!
