Enjoyed this one tonight. I’d say buy without hesitation if you’re looking for exactly what Jim describes. Light, good acidity, low ABV. Completely crushable. My only caveat would be that it is most enjoyable cool, not cold, so the Muscat character comes through.

What exactly does “coldest” mean? Lowest single temp yearly? Lowest average? Most days below a certain temp? Could mean many things.
I would bet that some Sierra Foothills sites would be in the running, in any case.

Cracked another one last night. This will definitely scratch the itch of any AFWE Cali Chardonnay fans. Stylistically reminiscent of Ceritas, maybe Radio-Coteau.

This is an interesting format, I am guessing some fallout from the “grape glut.“
However, their offerings can be hit or miss in general, so not sure I’m willing to pull the trigger without knowing the wine.

This made me think...does anyone recall a wine from this region ever getting the triple-digit from a prominent publication/reviewer? I imagine some of the Keplinger wines have gotten high scores, for example (as have Easton/DTR and others), but I can’t recall a 100 from the Foothills.

Opened one tonight on a whim, with some Indian food. Prior to B-Day, had zero familiarity with this producer (actually never heard of them). "Impressed" would be an understatement. This wine is killer, an acid trip for white Burgundy lovers, at a crazy price. I'm a fan. Posted my CT note to Wine Talk.

A colleague mentioned that he knows a local heating and refrigeration guy who reconditioned his Eurocave, after which it worked beautifully. Anyone have any experience with doing this? BTW, my cooler is a CellarPro 1800.

Drew, based on my experience with these wines, I would say open one of your choosing soon and see what you think. These have a rather graceful age trajectory to them. In other words, I think you can’t go wrong drinking or holding, just depends on your tastes.
