Bartending at a local restaurant. Proprietor is working the floor handling food & wine service. Group falls for a bottle of viognier on the list. Order a second bottle. Order a third bottle. I tell him that the second bottle was the last we had. Walks over to the table, grabs the empty and brings it...

Looking forward to what I hope to be a great game. More fun when the local team wins, but would be happy for Andy Reid to cash one in.

Stopped at Fieldwork and filled up, so it will be beer and a Carlisle Grenache I cracked last night.

2028 Rivers Marie Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir - As advertised, give this a few hours of air then plow through it. Dark garnet, pine needles this year are from Fir trees as this has the nose of a Christmas tree pushing through the fruit. Really tasty from start to finish.

Fieldwork Brewing Co. Pulp IPA. 100% Citra hopped. My favorite sub 7% IPA of the year. Incredibly built, soft, nuanced and complex. The citrus nose and flavor profile is mind boggling considering there is zero fruit additions. The Double Dry Hopped Pulp is the best beer I've had in a long long time...
